Tracing Arcs - Pebbles and weed

Tracing Arcs are Fran Kapelle & Paul H. Addie.

Fran Kapelle - vocals/lyrics:
I have been working as a vocalist since 1977, my first gig was in London's Rock garden with an indie band who were signed to a small independent label. After that I started putting ad's in the Melody Maker, advertising as a backing vocalist with a friend, work came in and we found ourselves singing with loads of different bands and songwriters . I worked with Jazz vocalist Ian Shaw and also numerous other artists including Brian Kennedy, Mary Coughlan, An Emotional Fish and Carol Grimmes. I was involved in recording and featured on several albums and toured with various artists both in the U.K and worldwide. I also worked on all the pre-production of the film 'The Commitments ' as well as vocal coach and writer of additional backing vocal parts . I formed a Hardcore dance record label in 1992 in London called Triple Helix and had success with main artist Automation with high placings in the billboard 100 and dance charts, plus regular airplay on radio one John Peel "God bless him" and all the pirate stations . I have varied influences and I use them all in my singing and songwriting , I have also enjoyed working with many Jazz musicians including Frances Knight and Tony Coe . My taste in music is highly diverse and anything goes .In 1994 I met Paul Addie and joined Tracing Arcs we have been working on creating original pieces of music since then and have worked together on offshoot projects.
